Wire Jewelry White Instead of Bright After Tumbling
My silver wire jewelry comes out looking white instead of bright and the silver beads looks grey. I'm using stainless shot and Woolite. What am I doing wrong?

I've personally never heard of using Woolite® to clean jewelry. While it may be gentle on clothes, I don't think it's the right product to use on metal jewelry. I recommend a dish soap such as Dawn® in your tumbler.Return to Tumble Polishing Q & A.
